Welcome to the WHS 2025-2026 Sports Season
How We Work
All WHS Huskies Athletics Boosters members are invited to attend monthly meetings to vote on how funding is distributed. The operating budget and financials are shared each meeting.

The WHS Huskies Athletics Boosters supports ALL teams and athletes at Washington High School. Every year, we create an operating budget in which we define how much money will go to coach requests as well as reserve for senior scholarships.

We communicate multiple times during the year (starting in the summer before school starts) with all the coaches inviting them to participate in snack bar shifts, submit coach requests, and invite us to team meetings.

Every team has equal opportunity to receive funding for their program through the Athletics Boosters.
​
Coaches must submit a formal request through our Coach Request application to be considered for funding. Coaches may even attend our monthly meetings to pitch their request.

As members of the WHS Huskies Athletics Boosters, all present at meetings have the opportunity to vote on how funds are distributed to teams based on their requests.

If you are an athlete or parent of an athlete, please encourage your coach to ask for Athletics Boosters support to help fund any needs as we can only give to those who submit an application.
Our 2025-2026 Budget Allocations
Coach Requests
Due to the rising costs for sports and the increased demand in funding, we have allocated up to $30,000 in funding for coach requests for this school year. All teams at WHS are welcome to apply, and we will do our best to fulfill as many requests as possible.
Senior Scholarships
As we know the importance of continued education, we have allocated up to $10,000 to award in scholarships within our Norm Stelle Scholarship opportunity. Applications open in the spring, and all athletes who are current members, or whose family is a member, are encouraged to apply.
